Abby’s
Pick was developed for one simple reason; wanting a food source
for our dogs with the quality of 100% U.S.D.A. Human Grade
Inspected meats and fresh vegetables. We wanted the advantage
of inspecting the ingredients ourselves before they were
processed into a pet food. Not knowing the caliber of raw materials
used in commercial pet foods, we realized that the only way to
ensure that our dogs were getting the quality that met our high
standards was to develop our own pet food.
We
believe that the freshest ingredients are as important to our
canine friends as they are to us. Having a background in the food
and the poultry processing industry, along with some inspiration
from very close friends, we were able to formulate this type of
high quality food. Abby’s Pick--our original blend--is a
fresh frozen, raw poultry based canine food consisting of Chicken,
Turkey (including bones), Kale, Broccoli, Green Beans, Butternut
or Acorn Squash, Carrots, Parsley, Organ Meat and Oatmeal. Abby’s
Pick is free of additives and preservatives. This product is to
be used as a foundation for a natural way of feeding.
Nature
has provided the means for us and our canine friends to eat healthy
and natural. As human beings, we possess the ability to make sensible
decisions regarding our diet and nutrition. Why not make the same
sensible decisions for "man's best friend". Wholesome
fresh food is essential for a long healthy life. We recommend
adding fresh fruits & dairy products such as cottage cheese,
yogurt and eggs to Abby's Pick in order to complete a fully balanced
diet. A mineral and vitamin supplement can be added as well.

Pick consists of 80% meat (including organ meat), and 20% vegetable
